AUDITIONS APPROACHING FOR AMTSJ'S SUMMER THEATRE ARTS CONSERVATORY -- GET YOUR REGISTRATION FORMS IN SOON!
Following the success of last summer’s intensive conservatory program, AMTSJ is proud to announce the 2006 Summer Theatre Arts Conservatory. This coming summer, AMTSJ will be offering two five-week comprehensive studies of fundamental, intermediate and advanced musical theatre practices. Students will meet five days a week for six hours a day, participating in demanding singing, acting, dance, and scene study classes as well as attending symposiums in career management. The curriculum covers all areas of musical theatre performance and provides a supportive environment for performers to experiment and stretch their imaginative muscles. Strengthening skills and building self-confidence and self-awareness in a healthy environment are all a part of the training you will receive at Theatre Arts Conservatory. Enrollment is limited to 45 students per Conservatory session in order to maximize personal interaction between inst
ructor and student. All classes are taught by current working professionals including returning faculty from our 2005 summer conservatory. Session I: June 12 to July 14, Session II: July 17 to August 18. Tuition: $750. Limited partial scholarships are available. The program is by audition only and is open to any intermediate to professional performer ages 14 or older. Auditions will be held at AMTSJ studios on Saturday, February 4, 2006 and Saturday, February 11, 2006, starting at 1:00 pm both days.
