DCPA Offers Print-at-Home Ticket Option

The Denver Center for the Performing Arts announced Tuesday it will begin offering buyers the ability to print tickets at home starting Aug. 22. The DCPA anticipates that 85 percent of those buying tickets online will choose to print their own.The DCPA already has sold almost $13 million in tickets online since September 1999.

There were 10,030 online transactions in 1999-2000, accounting for 2 percent of all ticket sales and $417,172 in income. In 2003-04, those numbers have reached 114,154 online transactions, 14 percent of ticket sales and $5,968,951 in income.

Also, the DCPA will launch a new Web site (www.denvercenter.org) that it said "provides easier navigation, a site search function and deep linking for faster access to information" starting Aug. 22.

Available services online will include print-at-home tickets, 24/7 seat purchases, group ticket packages, VIP and special event ticketing, subscription purchase and renewal, and discount ticket opportunities.
