Sales are 34% of last year's sales at this time.

OXFORD, Miss. - As the May 31 Loyalty Foundation deadline approaches, Ole Miss athletics officials are still reporting a sales pace which may well establish a new record for Rebel football season tickets.

"As of May 16th, sales are ahead of last year's pace by 34 percent, with over 5,000 more season tickets sold this year when compared to the same time last year," said Assistant Athletics Director for Ticket Operations Sans Russell. "We have been saying all along that our fans need to go ahead and purchase season tickets if they want to make sure they can see the Rebels in 2005. We had a fantastic early start with our season sales and the early sales momentum continues to be very strong."

Ole Miss sold more than 45,000 season tickets in 2002, approximately 43,600 in 2003, and just under 47,000 in 2004. "If you don't have an order form, call 1-888-732-8587 or go to our web site, www.olemissticketoffice.com and order your tickets," Russell said.

Meanwhile, the Ole Miss Loyalty Foundation is reminding season ticket holders that May 31 is the deadline to renew their football seating priority contribution. "We want to make sure that all of our Loyalty Foundation members know that May 31 is their deadline to make sure they retain their priority seating locations," said Loyalty Foundation Associate Director Karen Horner.

Also, Ole Miss officials announced that only 200 chair back seats remain for rental at $45 per seat. The seats, which are good for all six home games, may be rented by calling Rebel Sports Marking at 662-915-7552.

Home games at Vaught-Hemingway Stadium/Hollingsworth Field in 2005 will be against Wyoming, The Citadel, Alabama, Kentucky, Arkansas, and LSU as the Rebels begin the Ed Orgeron era at Ole Miss.
