Heroes Awards Nominations

To acknowledge organizations that exceed expectations and achieve uncommon results in ticketing, marketing or fundraising, we are pleased to introduce the PACnet Heroes Awards.

Awards will be given to organizations whose stories embody the spirit of the award and meet the criteria for nomination. We will be honoring the finalists and the winning “Heroes” during the closing awards luncheon on Wednesday,  February 24, 2010.

Awards are given in the following categories:

HACnet Golf Tournament

HACnet Golf Tournament

Join your colleagues for a relaxing round of golf. "THE SHAMBLE" Teams will compete using a scramble variation called "The Shamble." This format is great as it levels the playing field and allows you to play your own ball every hole, while still producing low team scores.

Every player hits a drive and you take the best drive of the group. From that point, it is no longer a team event. Starting with the approach shot, players begin playing their own ball. This format keeps the shorter hitters in the game by being able to use a long drive and keeps the speed of play going. It's great for those tournaments with players looking to get a full view of the course without the downside of having to start some holes in the trees.

The team score for each hole is the best two individual scores added together; the total score is the sum of the two scores used on each hole. Each team is required to use three drives from each player. A portion of your green fees will be paid for you. We will serve up a box lunch, and reward you with prizes for 1st, 2nd or last place. Each member of your team will be able to buy up to four mulligans that you can use throughout your round as you wish, no questions asked.
