Important airport transportation information

The Newport Beach Marriott Hotel & Spa no longer offers complimentary shuttle service to and from the Orange County/John Wayne airport. You will need to make transportation arrangements for a taxi, shuttle or rental car.

The hotel is about 4.5 miles from the airport. Taxi fare runs approximately $15 one-way from Orange County/John Wayne Airport. You can fit up to 4 people in the cab, so if you have a group of 3 or 4, this may be the best option. Cabs are readily available outside the airport in the transportation area.

Rental Car

Major car rental companies may discount their standard rates up to 30% if a reservation is made at least 24 hours prior to departure, the car is rented for a minimum number of days and the rental is prepaid.

All major rental car agencies are onsite at the Orange County Airport. If you are staying at the Newport Beach Marriott Hotel & Spa, nightly self-parking is included in your room rate. The on-site parking fee is: $4 USD hourly, $18 USD daily* and the valet parking fee is $25 USD daily.

*PACnet Nightly Self-Park Rate: $15/day. Let the hotel front-desk know that you are with the PACnet Conference to be sure you get the parking discount, or visit the PACnet registration desk. Please note there is no discount for valet parking.
