Paciolan Announces Ticketing Partnership with UNLV for Concerts, Athletic Events and More
Irvine, Calif. (8/9/2002)

Paciolan, a leader for over 20 years in ticketing, fundraising and marketing technology solutions for live entertainment venues, announces a multi-year contract to automate the ticketing operations at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. The Thomas & Mack Center, Sam Boyd Stadium and Cox Pavilion have consolidated their ticketing operations in-house with the installation of Paciolan’s t.Res ticketing solution and e.Venue® e-commerce product. Following the success with the University of Texas’ Frank Erwin Center and their new ticketing operation, Texasboxoffice.com, Paciolan has successfully completed its second major university arena implementation this year.

UNLVtickets.com is now the official ticketing source for all UNLV events, including concerts, performing arts and athletics. Paciolan’s e.Venue technology provides UNLV with a branded e?commerce site offering single ticket sales, new season ticket sales, season ticket renewals, and custom package sales. In addition, the Thomas & Mack Center will utilize Paciolan’s e.Venue PACMail – a web-hosted email software and marketing support tool enabling organizations to send targeted, personalized email communications quickly and easily based on customer interests and requests.

UNLV’s athletics department is also integrating Paciolan’s fundraising solution, t.Fund, with the ticketing system to automate their annual gift and donation processing. This integration includes a patron-centric database with functionality to capture individual student, fan and donor information such as demographics, ticket purchases and donation history.

“Paciolan has been a leader in the collegiate marketplace for several years. Their expertise in donor points management and database marketing will be a huge asset to us,” said Daren Libonati, executive director of the Thomas & Mack Center. “By selling our own tickets, we will have more flexibility, more opportunities, and the ability to better serve our customers, promoters and other partners.”

Other benefits for managing ticket operations in-house include control of the new state-of-the art call center at Sam Boyd Stadium for phone order ticket sales, and providing ticket sales through retail outlets such as local shopping malls and eight Station Casino locations in the Las Vegas area.

"We are extremely pleased about our partnership with UNLV and their new ticketing entity, UNLVtickets,” stated Jane Kleinberger, Paciolan’s chairman. “Like the University of Texas, we see their operation as the new blueprint for consolidating ticketing operations on campus. This consolidation creates greater efficiency and extends our data-rich ticketing system to all venues. We are also very excited to be accommodating the arena infrastructure that requires the selling of concert tickets and facilitating massive on-sales."
