| Select Your Tickets Partners with Paciolan to Manage Ticketing In-House Select Your Tickets, an entertainment and ticketing company managed by RG Properties, has partnered with Paciolan to manage in-house ticketing for events at the 7,000 seat Prospera Place, in Kelowna, BC, and the 8,000 seat Save on Foods Centre, in Victoria, British Columbia. This partnership enables Select Your Tickets to leverage their in-house ticketing system to maximize revenues by managing fees, controlling their brand and exclusively owning their customer relationships. “We analyzed the cost of outsourcing ticketing and realized that distributors take a hefty percentage of ticket revenues without assuming any of the financial risk,” states David Dakers, Executive Director of Facility Management, RG Properties. “Since we own the venues and manage the events, we want to realize the significant financial upside of controlling ticketing in-house.” Select Your Tickets exercises exclusive control of their customer data through a centralized patron database with real-time access to purchase history, demographics and attendance information. Armed with a 360-degree view of their customers, Select Your Tickets is enabled to enhance life-long relationships by tailoring marketing and retention programs. By controlling the customer experience from start to finish, Select Your Tickets offers premium customer service through all sales channels including their online box office, www.selectyourtickets.com. "Our goal is to drive more ticket sales online and leverage the power and convenience of the Internet to enable our customers to purchase tickets 24-7,” states Dakers. The new ticketing system has already enabled Select Your Tickets to achieve impressive results during high demand periods. During the recent Avril Lavigne on-sale, Prospera Place sold out in just 30 minutes, with 78% of all tickets sold online. Paciolan worked with Select Your Tickets to make a smooth transition from their previous third party distributor to their new in-house system. “We started the Josh Groban on-sale with Ticketmaster as our provider and made the switch to Paciolan during a peak period. Not only did we maintain the daily sales pace during the transition, but also we were able to make the switch with no interruption to our customers. Now that’s customer service,” states Dakers. The entertainment and ticketing company is leveraging the Paciolan system to effectively manage internal reporting and promoter relationships. “The Paciolan system offers intuitive executive reporting tools that enable us to better communicate with promoters. The local Paciolan environment allows us to run reports that present event data in an easy-to-digest format with the clarity and speed we need to quickly feed promoters after an event,” states Dakers. Managed by RG Properties, Select Your Tickets is realizing the value of operating two arena venues under one ticketing system to create efficiencies and maximize profitability. “By using our centralized ticketing system to achieve economies of scale we are able to spread overhead costs and meet our true revenue potential. The proof is in our bottom line,” adds Dakers. Select Your Tickets also implemented Paciolan’s integrated digital ticketing and Access Management functionality to empower their customers to instantly receive tickets via print-at-home technology. Additionally Select Your Tickets plans to enable fans to resell unused tickets on their privately branded Ticket Marketplace. By allowing fans to sell tickets that would otherwise go unused, Select Your Tickets captures new revenues, helps curb scalping activity, reduces no-shows and gathers data on future premium tickets buyers.
