WASHINGTON STATE UNIVERSITY PARTNERS WITH PACIOLAN TO CONTROL TICKETING
IRVINE, CA (May 20, 2005) Paciolan announces their partnership with Washington State University (WSU) today to manage ticketing operations for all athletics events campus-wide. With this partnership the WSU box office is enabled to better serve fans by offering singles, seasons, renewals, donations, email communications, and account information online via www.wsucougars.com.
Our goal is to work smarter and leverage technology to reduce the load on our box office staff, enabling us to concentrate on serving our best customers Cougar season ticket holders,” states Dan Meyer, Director of Ticket Operations, Washington State University. Our new Internet sales channel allows us to extend services statewide and offer customers the ability to purchase every type of ticket online, anytime,” adds Meyer.
WSU will control the look and feel of their ticketing website to mirror their athletics brand and provide customers with a seamless purchasing experience. Additionally, WSU will implement a Cougar branded email-marketing club that will extend their brand and promote their online box office to fans and donors.
We are currently in a growth mode and looking to expand Martin Stadium to accommodate demand for our football program. We partnered with Paciolan to help manage this transition and to tap into industry-leading technology,” states Meyer.
Paciolan’s best-of-breed technology enables WSU to provide enhanced student ticketing services by streamlining the purchasing process and improving the dissemination of event information. With Paciolan’s student ticketing functionality and integrated email marketing solution, WSU will now automate time-consuming processes and effectively communicate with their students.
A fully hosted solution enables WSU to take advantage of the latest product enhancements without any additional upgrade charges. By utilizing Paciolan’s state-of-the-art hosting technology, WSU reduces their financial burden on both hardware and hardware maintenance. Additionally, WSU will now enjoy a smooth budget cycle for all ticket related expenses.
WSU will leverage an integrated fund development solution enabling online donations while gaining full access to customer purchase and donation history from a central patron database. Armed with this data, WSU will effectively manage their priority points system to encourage renewals or donations and reward their most loyal customers.
In the competitive college athletics ticketing market, Paciolan continues to prove that we offer the most feature-rich solution, best tailored to the needs of large universities,” states John Hnanicek, CEO Paciolan. “We are extremely excited to have earned the business with Washington State University and are very proud to now be a partner with yet another university in the Pac-10”
