Becomes An Authorized Provider Of Ticketing Solutions For Major League
Baseball Advanced Media Paciolan announces the signing of a multi-year contract with Major League Baseball Advanced Media (MLBAM), to become an authorized provider for comprehensive online ticketing solutions. With this relationship, MLBAM is giving participating teams the option of managing ticketing in-house with a solution that offers complete back office and online ticketing services. “As an MLBAM authorized online ticketing provider, Paciolan offers MLB teams the opportunity to use a single solution for in-house ticketing,” said Noah Garden, Senior Vice President of E-commerce, MLBAM. “We are pleased to expand the range of online ticketing service providers for MLB teams to include Paciolan, an industry leader and innovator.” Paciolan provides an integrated ticketing solution that offers MLB teams visibility into every aspect of their fan’s ticket-buying experience from purchase-to-redemption. This technology will enable MLBAM and the participating MLB teams to track attendance, including no-shows, and allows them to tailor marketing and retention programs. By capturing customer information, MLBAM and the participating MLB teams will be able to manage and leverage life-long relationships with their fans. Paciolan’s ticketing infrastructure will also enable participating MLB teams to manage integrated sales channels including phone centers, retail outlets, and box office windows, in addition to having a live online interface with MLB.com. MLB teams that elect for Paciolan to perform online ticket services will also benefit from digital ticketing technology enabling fans to purchase, receive, transfer and manage tickets online. Additionally, Paciolan’s interface with MLBAM will allow teams to offer best-available tickets, facilitate the resale of unused tickets, and provide print-at-home ticket delivery – all through www.mlb.com and the official team website of each participating MLB team. Through digital ticketing and access management technology, baseball fans at select Paciolan-enabled parks will be able to utilize either traditional or digital tickets to attend games.
