Centre Events Partners with Paciolan to Manage Rockford Centre Events and Paciolan announced their partnership today to manage ticketing operations, enabling Centre Events to enhance their online presence and maximize revenues. Centre Events offers ticketing services for the Rockford MetroCentre, Davis Park at Founders' Landing, and the Coronado Theatre in Rockford, Illinois. New world-class technology will enable their customers to easily purchase best-available tickets through their website, www.centreevents.com, via their phone center, at their outlets, and at their box office. By managing these ticketing services in-house, Centre Events is able to control ticket fees, build life-long customer relationships and cross-sell and up-sell their performances. Paciolan provides tailored ticketing, marketing and patron management solutions that enable large entertainment venues to sell and manage their own tickets - eliminating the need for a third-party distributor. By adopting an "in-house" solution, venues maintain exclusive control of their customer relationships, brand and revenue. "We needed to upgrade our system so we evaluated Paciolan and major third-party distributors for a side-by-side comparison," states Corey Pearson, General Manager, Centre Events. “We discovered that Paciolan provides the only true win-win solution in the industry. The difference in revenue potential alone is more then three times greater during the first year of operation with the Paciolan solution. The choice was simple!” Centre Events is leveraging their new ticketing solution to maintain control over every aspect of their business including marketing and venue sponsorships. Additionally, they are expanding their ticketing infrastructure to quickly serve customers through the Internet. "With our new system, not only are we able to offer customers improved functionality, but we are also able to exclusively control and leverage our brand. All while keeping the lion’s share of the revenues," says Pearson. Centre Events went live with their new ticketing solution on September 27th and has already enjoyed two successful on-sales with the Phil Vassar and Jackson Browne concerts. Centre Events will be offering two highly anticipated on-sales this Saturday, October 4th, with the Toby Keith - Willy Nelson concert and the Jerry Seinfeld performance. Paciolan worked closely with Centre Events to quickly implement the system in just a few months. "We first met with Paciolan at the International Association of Assembly Managers (IAAM) conference in July. We identified the optimal solution and were able to go live by mid-September," states Pearson. “The implementation and technology upgrade was smoother then anything we could have imagined,” adds Pearson. Centre Events plans to take advantage of Paciolan’s integrated digital ticketing and access management functionality to empower their customers to instantly receive and manage their own tickets. They also plan to leverage their ticketing system to offer regional ticketing services to other venues in the Rockford area. “Offering centralized ticketing services to additional organizations will enable our box office to generate revenue even during periods when our facilities are idle,” states Pearson. “This will allow us to maximize our system and significantly increase our return on investment.” “Centre Events’ innovative strategy to offer digital ticketing and best-of-breed services will make them a leading hub of ticketing technology in the region.” states John Hnanicek, Chief Executive Officer, Paciolan. “The MetroCentre is a prime example of how an arena of any size can embrace the Paciolan philosophy to control ticketing and maximize revenues.“ Steve Demots, Director of Sales, Paciolan Corey Pearson, General Manager, Centre
