For Immediate Release New Era Tickets and Paciolan Power the Ticketing Systems for 18 Arenas Irvine, CA (08/01/2006) - Paciolan and New Era Tickets announced today that four additional arenas have adopted the New Era Tickets system powered by Paciolan, since January 2006. This brings the total number of arenas leveraging the New Era Tickets ticketing system to 18. These arenas leverage their ticketing systems to dramatically increase profits, maximize Internet ticket sales, and to better control their brand and customer experience. New Era Tickets is a subsidiary of Philadelphia-based sports and entertainment firm Comcast-Spectacor. Many arenas transitioning to New Era Tickets realize increased profits by keeping a greater share of their ticketing fees. "We quadrupled our ticketing income in just one year without losing promoters, events, customers or tickets sales," said Doug Higgons, General Manager of the Ted Constant Center and Vice President with Global Spectrum. "The results speak for themselves and we are ecstatic about our new ticketing system." The Iowa Events Center leveraged the Internet to quickly sell-out tickets online to many high demand events. "We quickly sold-out over 9,000 Soul 2 Soul concert tickets, featuring Tim McGraw and Faith Hill, during a one day on-sale with over 60% of all tickets sold via the Internet," said Matt Homan, General Manager, Iowa Events Center. "Plus, our new ticketing system allows us to set our own convenience fees and reap the financial upside of controlling those fees. It allows us to be aggressive in generating revenues without price gouging our customers." With the power to control more aspects of their ticketing business, many arenas benefit by leveraging their brands to generate incremental revenue. The Everett Events Center sells advertising on their ticketing website and generates revenue from the delivery of print-at-home ticket sales. Additionally, the box office fully controls the customer experience from start-to-finish offering exceptional customer service while maximizing cross-sell and up-sell opportunities. "We wanted to provide the best possible service to our customers while maximizing our revenues," said Kim Bedier, General Manager, Everett Events Center. "The Paciolan-powered New Era Tickets system allows us to achieve these goals and more." "We are excited to provide these arenas with the industry's most powerful and flexible ticketing system. Not only do New Era clients realize greater financial reward, but they also build lasting relationships with their fans by maintaining full control of their ticketing infrastructure," stated Fred Maglione, President & CEO of New Era Tickets. "We could not be happier about our relationship with New Era Tickets and our ability to jointly serve the arena market. Coupling New Era Tickets’ arena management expertise with the power of the Paciolan ticketing infrastructure empowers forward thinking arenas to effectively run their business," said Dave Butler, CEO Paciolan.
