Taking Center Stage: How WestCoast Entertainment Unlocked a New Revenue Stream with Open Distribution
WestCoast Entertainment faced a familiar problem: premium Lion King tickets resold at steep markups, with only some of that revenue flowing back to the venue. After activating Open Distribution, verified face-value inventory appeared directly on major resale exchanges — and the results were immediate. Across 11 performances, the venue unlocked $90,924 in new revenue, moved 1,224 tickets, and added 161 first-time buyers to its database.

The City of Lethbridge operates two busy entertainment venues: the Yates Theatre and VisitLethbridge.com Arena, as well as supports a separate City of Lethbridge department, The Galt Museum.
