Fairfield University Announces Relationship with Paciolan


IRVINE, Calif. (August 9, 2022) — Paciolan, the leading ticketing, marketing, and fundraising solution provider for college athletics, has entered into a new relationship with Fairfield University. As a result, Paciolan will power mobile ticketing and customer engagement technologies for Stags Athletics, concerts, and events at their new arena opening this fall as well as all student-facing, external campus, and alumni events.

Fairfield University will be able to offer a fully integrated ticketing process to impact the customer experience positively. The integrated solution enables fans and supporters to purchase tickets through a single, integrated commerce experience and manage profiles and accounts with fan-friendly digital features. Fairfield Athletics will also gain a complete view of fans, season ticket holders, and donors to create rich programs personalized for each customer.


As we prepare to debut a new arena on campus for our basketball and volleyball programs, it is imperative to partner with innovative organizations such as Paciolan to enhance the fan experience from the moment the building opens. With Paciolan’s innovative software, Stags fans will enjoy a turnkey ticket buying process while also supporting the needs of our new outbound ticket sales team.

Fairfield fans will be able to take advantage of their mobile ticketing platform powered by Paciolan. Fans can purchase mobile tickets, receive their tickets via text message, and enter the venue using their phones. Fairfield Athletics staff then scan tickets at the gate, gaining valuable attendance data to enrich each fan’s profile. Fans also have the added capability of managing their accounts directly from their mobile devices. They can seamlessly transfer or exchange tickets with family or friends for events they cannot attend. Ticketing seamlessly integrates into the Fairfield Athletics website powered by SIDEARM Sports.


Paciolan will also provide advanced ticketing and marketing solutions for the new multi-purpose on-campus arena opening in November of 2022. The 3,500-seat facility will serve as the home for the Fairfield Basketball and Volleyball teams, concerts, academic gatherings, and other larger on-campus events.


Fairfield staff will tap into Paciolan’s full-service, centralized support to set up and manage athletics, campus, and alumni events throughout this relationship. In addition, these services come with built-in fraud monitoring and protection to mitigate the risk of fraudulent activity.



Fairfield will also tap into Paciolan marketing services to engage fans and customers with custom digital campaigns including search, social, display and video. Paciolan’s digital marketing team acts as an extension of the Fairfield marketing staff to help strategize and execute highly efficient campaigns to increase awareness of events and sell more tickets.


As a partner, Fairfield University receives Paciolan’s signature service and support. In addition, the athletics staff partners with a highly experienced client partner, an ecommerce operations specialist, and an email marketing specialist who will help with strategic planning, sharing best practices, and consulting on the use of available Paciolan tools.
