(June 29, 2022) — Northern Illinois University Athletics on Wednesday announced a new partnership with Paciolan, the leading mobile ticketing, marketing, and fundraising solution provider for college athletics, which will elevate the fan experience for all games and events at Huskie Stadium and the NIU Convocation Center.
Through this partnership, Paciolan will provide the Huskies with comprehensive ticketing, marketing and customer relationship management (CRM) technology designed to deliver an exceptional fan experience, while supporting NIU Athletics staff with insights and analytics, allowing for more personalized customer interactions.
This is an exciting development for NIU Athletics and Huskie fans, donors and everyone who attends an event at the NIU Convocation Center or Huskie Stadium. Paciolan is a recognized leader in the collegiate athletics arena with proven products and technology that makes buying tickets easier for fans, and connects our marketing, ticketing and fundraising processes like never before.

Beginning July 1, NIU fans will manage all ticketing transactions through Paciolan’s mobile ticketing solution. Fans can purchase mobile tickets, receive them instantly via text, and scan their mobile ticket at the venue. If fans cannot attend an event, tickets are easily transferred to friends or family through the mobile Huskies account management feature. Fans will also be able to access Paciolan’s mobile ticketing system via a link from the free NIU Huskies app.
NIUHuskies.com and NIUConvo.com, the official websites of NIU Athletics and the NIU Convocation Center, will continue to provide secure, convenient, and easily accessible links to purchase tickets, including on-schedule pages for ticketed sports and other events. Fans can also continue to connect with Huskie ticket personnel directly by calling 815-753-PACK (7225) during normal business hours.
Powered by Paciolan’s custom implementation of Salesforce and CRM administrative services, NIU staff will gain a 360-degree view of each fan. Armed with these insights and Paciolan’s dedicated services and support will allow NIU to increase engagement and grow fan relationships through personalized interactions.
The Huskies will also benefit from Paciolan’s integrated email marketing solution, PAC Mail. The platform enables NIU fans and customers to receive personalized communications and emails alerting them of upcoming events based on their affinities, interests, and previous purchase history.
Thanks to Paciolan’s signature service and support systems, NIU staff will have access to a highly experienced client partner, ecommerce operations specialist, and a CRM strategist who will ensure the utilization of best practices with all Paciolan tools. Paciolan’s support services also come with built-in fraud monitoring and protection to mitigate the risk of fraudulent activity.
Through this partnership, Paciolan will also handle ticketing and marketing solutions for all non-NIU athletic events at Huskie Stadium and the NIU Convocation Center, including graduations, concerts, shows and more. This combined effort for athletics and non-athletic events provides a single fan experience when buying tickets and enables NIU to market additional customized offers to all patrons.
