August is here. Campus is a buzz. Gameday is near. Are you ready for kickoff? Check out these marketing automation recommendations to get you ready for gameday!
Download Ticket Reminders
The data doesn’t lie – download ticket reminder emails work. Last season we saw these reminders had a significant impact on download percentage, which makes gameday at the gates run smoother.
This season, we are recommending an automated reminder earlier in the week as well as our standard Day Before/Day Of Reminders depending on your Know Before You Go cadence. Get inspired by these examples of great reminder emails on our Marketing Automation Central page here.
SeatGeek Information
With our transition to SeatGeek as our new official secondary market partner, communication is key with your fans to ensure they are educated on the new process of listing their tickets. Check out the SeatGeek Consumer Guide here for resources to create communication to help fans list their tickets and more!
Know Before You Go Emails While KBYG communication can’t typically be automated, refresh your look this year with inspiration from the community. Check out these great Know Before You Go examples on Marketing Automation Central!
Post-Game Surveys
After your events, identify who attended and follow up with a survey to gain insight into your fan experience. Visit the PAC Community to learn how to create your own survey in Oracle Eloqua.
Once you have your survey created, you can either send it manually or work with your Marketing Automation Rep to automate your survey sends. Here are examples of surveys from Marketing Automation Central.
Non-Usage Emails
Just as you can identify fans who attended your events, you can also identify fans who had a ticket and did NOT attend.
Send them a gentle reminder to list their seats on SeatGeek, transfer to a friend, or donate to your organization. These messages can be automated or sent throughout the season. Find examples here on Marketing Automation Central!
