Rice University Athletics Signs with Paciolan for Ticketing Solutions

IRVINE, Calif. (June 11, 2025) — Rice University Athletics and Paciolan, the leading mobile ticketing, marketing, and fundraising solution provider for college athletics, have signed a new agreement to provide an industry-leading ticketing & fan engagement solution for all Owls' athletic events.

 

Under the partnership, Paciolan will offer innovative ticketing options, providing fans and donors with a user-friendly and efficient way to access events. Paciolan’s digital ticketing technology enables Rice fans to purchase tickets through a mobile-optimized platform, receive tickets instantly via text, and scan in at the venue through enhanced digital wallet technologies. Additionally, users can manage their accounts directly from their mobile device to easily transfer, exchange, or resell tickets to family and friends.

Rice Athletics will leverage Paciolan’s email marketing tool, powered by Oracle Eloqua, to easily create and distribute sharp, engaging marketing emails to targeted audiences, alerting them of upcoming events and offers. Additionally, Rice will tap into Paciolan’s Salesforce CRM to establish integrated data feeds, gain deeper insights into fan behavior, and develop personalized engagement programs based on individual interests, affinities, and past transactions.
