Are you looking to personalize your emails with account or donor representative information but don’t know what to start? Check out this guide to getting started with rep personalization!
Choose Your Rep Data Source
The first step in personalizing your emails with rep information is determining where that data is coming from to trigger content. There are several options to get account rep information into Eloqua to choose from:
Utilize PAC Account Data
The General Rep, Ticket Rep, and Fund Rep fields from the PAC Platform are already syncing automatically to Eloqua inside of the PAC Account Custom Data Object (CDO). Use the PAC Platform as your source of truth for account owner and the work is done for you!
Integrate Data from Salesforce
If you are a Salesforce client with Paciolan, you can work with your CRM Administrator to set up an automatic import of Salesforce Owner to Eloqua to use in personalization.
Upload Data Manually
To quickly get rep information to Eloqua if you can’t rely on PAC Account or Salesforce info, you can utilize a list upload and map to the “Salesperson” Contact Field to use in personalization.
Build Dynamic Content
To personalize information in the body of your email, we recommend using Dynamic Content. This allows you create rep cards that can be linked to send an email directly or can be created with a combination of text and images.
TIP: Images must be a maximum of 600 pixels wide when using the Dynamic Content editor to ensure proper loading across all platforms.

Build a Signature Rule
Signature rules allow you to change the email Sender Name, Reply-To Name, and Reply-To Address to further personalize your emails to come “from” a representative dynamically. While not required, this can be great way to further use your data to provide a personal experience for your fans.
To use signature rules, all your reps need to have an Eloqua user – active or inactive – in the platform. Once the users are created, build a rule to set your sender details that pull straight from the user based on the logic provided.
Check out this knowledge article in the PAC Community to learn how to build a Signature Rule in Eloqua.
Build Your Email & Campaign
Now that you have your data and content set, it is time to execute your email campaign.
When using dynamic content, simply build and send as you normally would with your dynamic content section included in your email. Proof using Actions > Send Test to see the content render for various contacts.
If using a signature rules, build your email as normal and build your campaign with the Advanced Sending Option to use a dynamic signature rule enabled.
TIP: To test a signature rule, you must build a real email campaign to yourself or your internal staff. The preview functionality on an email won’t apply signature rules.
Rep Personalization is available to ALL Eloqua clients at Paciolan, including Marketing Automation and PAC Mail clients. Follow this guide and start to personalize your emails today!
